Happy 4th!

Well, its auctually the 5th now, almost the 6th by the time I get this posted. It was a very laid back holiday this year. We began Sunday by going to church. I had my nursery rotation that day, so I did not get to enjoy the service. Afterwards, we snacked for lunch instead of eating with my parents. We were going to grill out that afternoon for dinner. This is Lilah's first Fourth of July. Last July I was just days away from having her. I was reminded yesterday just how HUGE I was by a good friend/sister. I couldn't find one good enough from that day, so I'll add the picture of the day we left for the hospital to have Lilah.

My, I look chipper for 4 in the morning. Anyways, back to the present. Here are my sweet girls on Fourth of July waiting to dig into some good food and good times.

Don't they look precious? Katy is 4 now and Lilah will be 1 on the 10th. This year is halfway through and I can't believe how quickly it has gone by. Here are a few more pics from the day that I took. It was a low key day. We didn't shoot fireworks this year. We were just too lazy too and knew Lilah would flip out from the noise. We had a relaxing day with the family, eating and talking. Its what we do best! I hope you all had a great holiday. Thank you to all of the men and women who served/are serving our country to protect our freedom. Thank you to God most of all for allowing me to live in this beautiful country. Much love this holiday weekend.
The girls play pretty good together now. Lilah does tend to eat anything that comes in her line of sight. Here they are playing under the table that held the drinks playing with the little people and house. All the time with Katy yelling, "SISSY! Don't eat that!!! " I love 'em so much I just wanna squeeze 'em.
